Traditional demand is concentrated in UV coatings, inks and adhesives. Customers buy reliable adhesion on difficult substrates, not simply an acid-value range.
Growth areas include adhesion and flash-rust control in waterborne metal protection; clay tolerance and slump retention in polycarboxylate superplasticisers; interfacial stability in electronic adhesives, battery electrodes and separator coatings; and HEMA-free, low-sensitisation nail-gel designs.
These opportunities share higher value, longer validation and greater regulatory sensitivity. Electronics focus on ionic impurities, nail gels on cosmetic-contact compliance, and batteries on batch consistency and long-term reliability.
Commercial decisions should be based on a defined customer project: substrate, current failure, annual volume, regulatory region, test standard and decision cycle. Grade recommendations become meaningful only when those inputs are known.
