A minimum useful trial includes the base-formula blank, two to three JCCM grades and at least two dosage levels per grade. Keep substrate, pretreatment, film thickness, cure dose and dwell time fixed.
Beyond initial adhesion, add at least one accelerated test that represents the real failure: boiling water, 65/85 or 85/85 humidity, salt spray, solvent resistance or thermal cycling.
Record the failure locus: interface, coating cohesion or substrate failure. If failure is cohesive within the coating, raising interfacial monomer dosage may not help.
Report a recommended grade, starting dosage, boundaries and open questions for the next round, not merely that performance was good.
Use: sample requests and joint customer validation.
